The new developed Mains Decoupling Relay MRN3-3 with a “special time undervoltage characteristic according to e.on and VDN*”, additional available with disturbance recorder.

In response of requests by our customers, the XRW1-3 Mains Decoupling Relay was implemented into the High Tech Line as a new type of device with a “special time undervoltage characteristic according to e.on and VDN*”. The recording capacity of the disturbance recorder was extended to 20 seconds as to also allow recording of voltage time curves for a period that is typically used for the Spanish Wind Power Plant business. The new Mains decoupling Relay MRN3-3 provides the following features:

  • Disturbance recorder with a recording capacity of max. 20 seconds – scaleable.
  • Two parameter sets.
  • Two characteristic curves that can be optionally parameterized for a trip delay of up to 60 seconds, adjustable for symmetric or asymmetric disturbances.
  • Connection of the voltage transformers in star or delta connection.
  • Three adjustable switching points for voltage supervision.
  • Three adjustable switching points for frequency supervision.
  • Selectable: vector surge function or df/dt function integrated in one device.
  • Free assignment of the output relays.
  • Free assignment of the blocking functions.
  • Storage of the tripping values and switch off times of three fault events.
  • Serial data exchange via RS485 interface possible with SEG RS485 ProOpenData Protocol or Modbus Protocol.
