For more than 10 years, SEG has been providing overall emergency
power systems for the most different applications.
Our focus is to offer tailor made, turnkey ready power systems,
allowing our customers to gain from just one single source: optimal
technical advice, engineering, commissioning and maintenance
services including training courses for the operator personnel. All
applicable regulations and statutory provisions were, of course,
observed.
As regards components to be implemented by us, like for example
motor or generator, we are not bound to a certain make, so that you
are free to select the manufacturer of your choice.
Our product line includes low and medium voltage systems ranging
from 50 kVA to 2.5 MVA per gen.-set such as:
- peak-load power systems
- emergency power systems
- stationary power systems
- container systems
- non-stationary systems
In case of need, on-the-spot-support can be made available to
you within 24 hours at the latest.
Quality must not necessarily be expensive
Also with our automatic controllers for stand-by generating
systems we follow our policy to offer our products to absolute
competitive prices. Many external components, such as protection
and auxiliary relays, regulators, indication instruments etc. are
not needed any more because when using our latest controllers all
functions for protection, control and supervision are included in
there; thus we are able to offer an exceptional cost effective
solution. As a well-known producer of equipment for the large-scale
industry, for power stations, wind energy and UPS systems our
wide-ranging know-how is also comprehensively used in the
development work of our stand-by generating systems. Short delivery
times at high SEG quality standards can be guaranteed due to
optimized production methods combined with a strict quality
management.
Types of stand-by generating systems
Our stand-by generating systems are available in the
following standard versions:
NDC
Automatic stand-by operation without mains parallel
operation, for the normal emergency power operation
for industrial applications.
PCL
Automatic stand-by operation and synchronized no-break changeover
after AMF operation according to DIN 6280-13 (VDE 0108) for a safe
standard power supply in buildings frequented by a great number of
people (e.g. Shopping Centres, Banks etc.).
PCM
Automatic stand-by operation at auto mains-parallel load trial
operation by gradual taking over of the load without transition in
compliance with DIN VDE 0100-710 and as required for buildings with
high safety demands, such as hospitals, airports etc. We can also
offer the power parts matching the before mentioned standard
controls, as well as individual solutions like systems for the auto
mains-parallel peak load operation with single or multiple
gen.-sets. Handling and parameter setting of our automatic
controllers is done via the keypad at the front of the device. An
even more comfortable way is to use our diagnosis and parameter
setting software for this task. By this means systems can be
swiftly adapted to varying mains or generator configurations and
specific conditions.
